Superb. When you’re a devoted pessimist (and lifelong depressive) like Ligotti (or myself), everything is painful enough you lose any pain-aversion to troubling conclusions or patterns of thought. Felt like someone was pouring out my brain on the page, only clearer and better-written than I’d ever be able to manage.
